…about as wrong as you could possibly manage:

Tyler quotes from an FT article I can’t access:

And comments:

I do understand the financial motive here, but this is not a good idea!  It is even less of a good idea to say so in public.  Is the goal simply to irritate the Greeks so much that they leave the Eurozone on their own?

Could be.  Would a “proactive” Greek exit be less likely to spread to the rest of the PIIGS somehow?  That’s the only possible logic I can see in this statement.
