    I want to play too.

Nassim Taleb: Shit happens but institutions aren’t built to take it.

Aretae: Everything will be fine if we can just get more shit.

Moldbug: Shit happens because people bullshit.

Hanson: Everything anyone says should be considered bullshit until further notice.

      Oooh, that looks like fun.

Friedrich Hayek: Central committees don’t know shit about shit

Frederic Bastiat: This shit’s actually pretty funny if you’re as witty as I am

Murray Rothbard: All rights follow from the fact that my shit is not your shit

Don Boudreaux: Free trade leads to more and cheaper shit

Bryan Caplan: Believe it or not, shit’s actually getting better

Tyler Cowen: We’ve been getting the same old shit since 1970

Arnold Kling: The shit we had before was unsustainable

Michael Lewis: This shit’s all the bankers’ faults

Eric Crampton: You’re wildly overestimating the social cost of that shit

Nick Rowe: This shit’s pretty straightforward if you have the right model

Ron Paul: Currency that’s not backed by gold is backed by shit

Greece: You mean we have to pay for this shit?

Germany: I’m not paying for that shit

Apparently I should read more Eric Crampton. I’ve somehow missed Kling’s point about sustainability; can I get a link? I agree and I want to find out whether it is due to prejudice or reason. :P
Your timing on the last two was perfect.

Archevore: You feel like shit because you’re eating shit.

Foseti: You know the bureaucracy runs all this shit, right?

Seth Roberts: It’s worth trying to learn this shit yourself.

        Hume: This reasoning is shit.

        Nietzsche: This morality is shit.

        Wittgenstein: This language is shit.

Socrates: You guys don’t know shit, do you?

Kling: I’m referencing (awkwardly) his Patterns of Sustainable Specialization and Trade theory. Here’s one link, but you’re perhaps interpreting “unsustainable” in environmental terms, which is not how I meant it, and once I wrote “PSST” the confusion will likely go away.

Archevore — good one! Half the links on my “physical culture” blogroll can probably boil down to “Mainstream nutrition is full of shit”.

You’re right, I was thinking environmental. I hadn’t seen the papers/idea anyway, so it doesn’t matter.

Wittgenstein should have said, “This communication is full of shit.” To me, that seems like the real problem.
